1. Introduction

Loomgrid ("we", "us", "our") operates an online school providing software and artificial-intelligence development courses. We take the privacy of everyone who visits our website or enquires about our courses seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we keep it safe and what rights you have over it.

This policy applies to all personal data collected through loomgrid.club and any related communication. By using our website you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you have questions, please contact us at [email protected].

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the personal data that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described below.

Data you provide directly:

  • Full name and contact details (email address, phone number) submitted through our enquiry form.
  • The content of messages you send us.

Data collected automatically:

  • Standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, operating system and pages visited.
  • Cookie and analytics data — please see Section 5 for full details.

Legal basis for processing:

  • Consent — for optional analytics and marketing cookies.
  • Legitimate interest — for basic site security and server logs.
  • Contract performance — for data collected when you enrol in a course.

Enquiry form data is retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, or until you request deletion. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Responding to enrolment enquiries and course questions.
  • Delivering course materials, mentor feedback and community access to enrolled learners.
  • Sending service-related communications such as schedule reminders or course updates — you may opt out at any time.
  • Understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it (analytics, aggregated and anonymised where possible).
  • Meeting our legal obligations under Thai law, including the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties. We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf (for example, email delivery services) under written agreements that require them to protect your data.

4. Data Protection Measures

  • All data transmitted between your browser and our server is protected using TLS encryption (HTTPS).
  • Access to personal data is limited to staff members who need it to carry out their responsibilities.
  • We review our data handling practices regularly and update procedures in line with good industry practice.
  • In the unlikely event of a data breach that may affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframe required by Thai PDPA.

5. Cookies

We use small text files (cookies) stored on your device. The categories we use are:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand which pages are visited most often. Collected in aggregate form.
  • Marketing cookies — used to understand how people arrive at our site from advertising.
  • Preference cookies — remember settings you have chosen.

You can manage your preferences on the Cookie Policy page. For full details of each cookie, please review that page.

6. Your Rights

Under the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and applicable data protection principles, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — you may ask us to delete your data where there is no longer a lawful reason to keep it.
  • Right to data portability — you may request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint — you may contact the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) in Thailand if you believe your rights have not been respected.

To exercise any of these rights, please write to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.
